The design of Hola Espirito is a testament to Skaraki's innovative approach to design. The inspiration for this design came from the jungle, where simple yet powerful symbolisms exist. The vibrant colors and exotic ferociousness of animals served as a guide, leading to a design that mirrors the colorful wisdom of nature.
What sets Hola Espirito apart is its ability to reflect its content. The Blue Lagoon cocktail is represented by yellow and blue, while Mojito is depicted in yellow and green. The universally accepted color palette of each cocktail's ingredients is used to create a clear impression of what the cocktail contains. This unique feature makes the design not only visually appealing but also informative.
The realization of this design involved the use of a glass bottle with a crown cap that features a shrink sleeve label. The technical specifications of the design include a height of 230mm and a diameter of 50mm. The design was completed in Athens between November 2020 and March 2021.
Creating a design that reflects the vibrancy and youthfulness of cocktail making and consumption was a challenge. However, Skaraki and her team, including Art Director Andreas Deskas, were able to overcome this by ensuring a colorful and playful result. The design exudes enthusiasm, happiness, and a good mood, mirroring the positive state of Hola Espirito's consumers.
Antonia Skaraki's Hola Espirito is a testament to the power of design in reflecting the essence of a product. This award-winning design not only showcases Skaraki's remarkable expertise and innovation but also introduces a sense of amazement and wonder, making it a top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable design.
